Barcoding Solutions. Campbell Soup Company. Developed and integrated barcoding in the Sacramento facility which later was incorporated throughout the company. Project started with a quality problem of ensuring that product, labels, and cases are matched and eventually expanded to tracking all production, warehousing, and shipping.
Plant Closure/New Plant Start-up-Georgia Pacific Corporation Chemical Packaging Division--Successfully managed the shutdown of production plant while building new production facility without a shortage of products requiired to meet customer orders.

U. S. Navy Surface Ship Camouflage Project-As a USNR Captain in NavSea Det 620, I was the Project Manager for the U.S. Navy Surface Ship Camouflage Project. The project consisted of extensive research into why ships were painted the way they were, at sea observations with ships in different paint schemes, and the development of computer software that allowed paint schemes to be evaluated in all scenarios anywhere in the world. The final solution was adopted and implemented by the U.S. Navy and is still in effect.
President, Marin County United Veterans Council-Council is part of County of Marin Administraive Offices. Its membership is composed of representatives from 3 American Legion Posts, VFW, County Veteran Service Officer, County Public Affairs Officer, Vietnam Veterans President, Elks Club Representative, Blue Star Moms Representative.
Camp Soulajoule Scholarship Fund Raising-As a Rotarian, headed the fund raising for Camp Soulajoule Scholarship Program for underprivileged youth to attend one week of summer camp. These 4th-5th grade individuals were selected by their teacher for their academics and leadership potential. The camp prepared them to come back to their schools to educate their peers for the class week during the school year at camp. The funding was provided by the 16 Marin Rotary Clubs and the Marin Community Foundation. Over 120 scholarships were awarded during the two year period.
